  • Elfyn extends Academy lead after Germany win

    Elfyn Evans took his third successive FIA WRC Academy victory on the ADAC Rallye Deutschland and, in doing so, extended his lead in the Academy to 35 points. Evans and his co-driver Phil Pugh have now won the last three rounds of the Academy; their victory on the all-asphalt roads of Germany follows wins on the rough gravel stages of the Acropolis Rally in Greece and the super-fast smooth gravel roads in Finland.

  • Ulster was perfect preparation for Germany says Elfyn

    Elfyn Evans and his co-driver Phil Pugh finished in second place on the 2012 Todds Leap Ulster Rally; a result that means Elfyn retains his shared lead of the British Rally Championship going into the final round. More importantly, as far as the 23 year old is concerned, the all-asphalt event served as the ‘perfect’ preparation for Rallye Deutschland, the fourth round of the WRC Academy which Evans currently leads. The Welsh driver’s performance in Northern Ireland also means that he has secured the R2 class in the BRC with one event still to go.

  • Elfyn snatches WRC Academy lead after Finland win

    Elfyn Evans and his co-driver Phil Pugh took their second successive FIA WRC Academy victory when they won the category on Rally Finland. The result means the pair move into the lead of the Academy series after three events.
