Solid finish for Elfyn after Sardinia challenge

Overcomes going off first to keep in Championship lead.

Despite being slowed after running first on the road on the opening day of Rally Sardinia, Elfyn put in a solid drive to finish fourth, just one place behind team-mate and closest championship rival Seb Ogier.

Conditions on the first day meant Elfyn and co-driver Scott Martin were unable to fight for overall victory, but they set a series of solid times to finish fourth and collect additional Power Stage points.

An additional round has been added to the calendar and they continue to lead the championship with two asphalt events remaining.
